Grandma's House Guests

I went to visit Gram last weekend - the first thing she did was lead me out to the balcony to introduce me to her new house guests...

I've never seen a baby pigeon up close before, and I gotta tell you, they give the Ugly Duckling story a whole new meaning... Just lookit their beaks - they're HUGE!

And it's kind of hard to make out here, but their claws are enormous (compared to the size of their bodies.)
